This site is a static prototype: there are no user accounts, and disease
search and filtering happen entirely in your browser. The only thing this
site stores about you is your light/dark theme preference, saved in your
browser’s localStorage so it doesn’t need to ask again on your next
visit. That preference never leaves your device.
If you use the contact form, we receive whatever you enter: your name, email address, and message content, so we can respond to you.
How we use information
Contact-form submissions are used only to reply to your message. We don’t sell or share your personal information, and we don’t use it for anything beyond responding to you.
Third-party services
- Netlify hosts this site and processes contact-form submissions.
- Orphadata (Orphanet’s free, open-access data service) is the source of the disease data shown on this site, licensed under CC BY 4.0. This site is an independently built interface over that data and is not an Orphanet product.
